4K/1080P Action Camera with Waterproof Case, Silver

The media could not be loaded.  In 2019, I ordered a Mokacam Snap camera via their Indiegogo Fundraising Page. I received a defective unit (the SD card wouldn't stay in, and the unit wouldn't power up, even after days of charging it. I received a polite email asking me to send them a video of the unit... showing the problem, which I did. I was then asked to send them the defective unit for repair or replacement. I corresponded with Mokacam for more than TWO YEARS before finally sharing my story online to caution others so that hopefully no one else will have to go through the frustration I experienced.

I received my camera, thoroughly read the instructions, not included, had to print them out via website.After days of attempting to simply take a picture, I can't figure out how. I cannot connect to Wi-Fi via the app on my smartphone.I cannot find a tutorial to explain how to operate the simplest features. I waited many months to receive the camera and now cannotuse it until someone gives me some practical steps for it's use. Camera does not appear to be user friendly. I am disappointed after such a long delivery delay.

I submitted my indiegogo support sometine in January 2016. I finally I just received the camera this afternoon, and started by fully charging the built in battery, and then the add-on battery. It's OK, but the controls are not intuitive. I could not read the small print on the enclosed instruction booklet. I had to go to mokacam.com and found the manual, downloaded the pdf and printed to large pages. When I displayed the system info, I expected to see what version of the software is loaded, but some other weird number was found, with a date of June 22,2016 for VER:02399. Does not look like what I expected.If you have a Sandisk SD card, format it first on your PC using FAT32. Otherwise it won't be recognized.I may change my rating later, after I have had a chance to test the camera out in the day time and transfer files to my PC.

It's not a very good idea to sell these things on Amazon before they're shipped to the Indiegogo backers. Very, very few of the 3,000 plus backers have received the camera perks from their contributions. I understand that those that have received a camera are not happy with it. Here's just one of the comments identifying problems:Problem and issues on the devices:1) only fish cam mode, no normal mode can be selected2) no sound on video recording3）devices always hanged and needed to push reset button4) function buttons on device and screen are difficult to push and control is bad5) when i downloaded a firmware upgrade to V1.0.1, the device no longer be able to switch on anymore!

just got the mokacam after a long wait of 8 months (almost lost hope of receiving it ..lol). 1st day impression was alriight. i hope it will last for a little while with no issues. i am not expecting the best from it in this technology age but if gets the things done , would call it a cool stuff unless something better comes up. the mokacam app did not work well for me but hoping to have it fixed in future by the team. the built of the product looks fine to me ( don't look so cheap) but still there are rooms where they can enhance it more. So, let's see with positive attitude how long this thing gonna last . .

Holy moly, I have repeatedly asked the Mokacam team for an address to return the camera to as it doesn't work and is not at all what I expected. Like getting blood from stone. They keep saying 'We appreciate your understanding', but don't try to understand or help me. My advice - don't go near the thing!
