Are there recipes for jam with it? How much would you use per batch?

It does not come with recipes. If your recipe calls for a pack of pectin, you would use 4 tablespoons. I used this to make violet jelly this spring and it did very well.

What fruit does the pectin come from--apples or oranges?

All it says is this that is on the advertised page. Doesn’t give any specifics. “Fruit Pectin is naturally found in ripe fruits and vegetables like apples, oranges, cherries, grapes, carrots, and more.”

Is this product organic and free of pesticides?

Yes. Actually all foods for human consumption are washed and cleaned before being processed, and products are tested, so yes I' sure that it is pesticide free. I'm not sure if you know this. Organic does not mean that a product is pesticide free. It only means that the product was not treated with synthetic chemicals or pesticides.

I’m not the seller or manufacturer but pectin comes from fruit not nuts so common sense says no it does not contain nuts.
