Inexpensive and does as described. Gave renewed use to my old eneloops and very old lint shaver that uses C batteries.

All depends on the battery brand size; some little loose, come fits fine. Overall good strong plastic. Works fine either way.

I like that I no longer have to buy expensive C batteries, can use my AA to power my flashlight. Not that it's used much but C battery use for me is something I can forget about.

I used these to replace four C-cells in a weight scale. The current drain is small and the C-cells were well past their shelf life, although they were still working. I was afraid they would leak and replaced them with these adapters using Eneloop rechargeable AA-cells. I expect a couple of years between charges. The adapters work well. The batteries snap in place and the four loaded adapters fit exactly into the compartment that held the four C-cells.

Does its job.
