If you just buy a new license every year, you save a ton over what Norton wants to renew "conveniently" through their web site. This is the same protection at a better price point.

I've been in the IT Field since 1980, when protection of your equipment is tantamount to peace of mind on the internet, Norton is the way to go. Box stores offer whatever they have the most of to get rid of and claim that to be the best. Always trust Norton Security. I've used McAfee, Kaspersky, Avast, Avira, Bit Defender and other little known products only to have little to no protection. Stick with Norton.

I had 9 days left on my Norton Premium Security- I clicked on the "renew" button within the Norton Security interface, and it took me to the renewal site, where Norton wanted $159 to renew.I eventually found this, for a total cost of $46.01. Installed easily on my computer (Windows 7). All I had to do was enter the product key the package contains (does not contain an actual disc) into the setup/renewal site, and now I have 366 days left.

I'm a longtime Norton user. Those of you like me know it's worthwhile to shop around at renewal time. And that's what I did. My intent was to apply the subscription extension to my existing subscription - the ten seats cover may of the devices in my home. But that's not what happened. Activation started a new subscription! That said, it was easy to get a chat going with Symantec support. Their response was fast. After explaining what I wanted to do, the tech cancelled the new subscription and transferred the year's worth of days to my existing subscription. The payoff for me was that I sidestepped the need to visit each seat. The whole chat took just a few minutes, a clear win, and I was able to verify everything by way of the administration page.

Have not had any issues with this NORTON product. The new versions require a credit card to be put on file for basically mandatory renewal. This is unacceptable to me. So when I cannot locate an unused version for 10-devices I will probably move back to AVG who at this juncture does not have the NORTON aggressive policy of demanding my money!

I have been buying this for years. 3 years ago it automatically renewed without my permission charging my credit card. Since, I have made sure to turn auto renew off. It still auto renews and I have to call Norton and tell them I won't pay 3 times as much. This time within minutes of calling I got messages on my computer that Norton had an un-usable key. Then messages on my computer, web cam quit, volume quit, playback of DVD's quit. Norton sucks ass.

Good product based on years of experience with Norton. Good price.
