Customer 4 life
This is my second Vertagear chair. I have one for the office and one for my house. I love these chairs comfortable and professional looking. I'm 6"4 , 280+ fits like a glove. I used to have back problems from sitting in less supported chairs and eventually said enough is enough. Decided to make a change and invest in one of these, now I own two!

Doesn't last.
So let me start by saying I've always had bad luck with chairs.I'm 28 and have spent a majority of my free time in a desk chair for the last 16 years or so. I am an avid video gamer. When I was younger I would probably go through a chair per year. Granted we would always buy cheaply made chairs. When I was 21 I decided to spend a bit more money and bought a $150 chair from Office Depot. Nothing super special, but it looked solid enough. That chair lasted me roughly 6 years. Far longer than any chair before it.Sadly as that chair started to age and became less comfortable I decided I would look for something a bit better.January 2018I did some research and found the Vertagear SL5000 for $350.I read through the "recommended height and weight limits" which are 6'4 and 260lbs according to this site.Me being right at 6'4, but only 220 lbs I figured this would be a good fit.I purchased it. It arrived quickly (thank you Amazon) and I assembled it the same day. There weren't really a lot of pieces so I glanced over the instructions and set it up. Easy enough.Felt sturdy, looked nice. The chair was extremely firm. Not a huge deal, I figured it'd be something I'd get used to.Chair was great. About 2 weeks later the lining on the wheels started to come off. I had hardwood floors at the time. No big deal off to Amazon ordered some nice new wheels. These are the wheels I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CTIG4GE/Came the next day and installed them immediately.New wheels were fantastic, but we're not here to review them so I'll leave it at that.Back to the chair.I kind of like to sit a bit wide-legged so the sides my legs push against the chair. The cushioning toward the inner front sides of the chair is insufficient. I could feel the metal frame underneath. While the frame felt extremely sturdy it made the chair a bit less comfortable. Eventually I got used to that as well.My next issue with the chair came to the adjustable arm wrests. These things are awful. They go up down all around in every direction however the rotation of them doesn't seem to hold them very well. Just seems cheap. Not a huge deal for me.Overall I would have rated it "Good" with the new wheels.Fast forward to March 2019The chair is no longer capable of keeping the back in the upright position. Rendering the chair practically useless.15 months. Unfortunate for a $350 chair. Might as well go back to using cheap chairs if this is what's going to happen.Apparently the price has gone up a bit as well.I opened a support case with Vertagear. We'll see how that goes and I'll report back. Depending on how they handle the situation will determine whether I revise my review or swear off Vertagear for good.PS. The wheels are still awesome. They work perfectly and I've never had any issues.Edit: 4/18/19Took about 2-3 weeks for their support to process my case. I left a vague description about the base being broken along with the other requested information. After they finally processed it they sent me a replacement base.Overall I’d probably give it 3.5/5 Stars. If they were a little faster processing would have brought it to 4.The chair is still really nice and I hope this base will last longer than a year.

Comfortable! Worth it!
Most people complain about the bolts not going in right but they just need to line them up.

A good chair for the price.
A little stiff in the seat but good quality for the money. I can pull 4 or 5 hour sessions without getting soreness. Definitely a step above the 100-200 dollar chairs. Not exactly a herman Miller. But for less then half the price its not suppose to be.I would buy again.

Me fascino. Puedo estar horas y horas sentado y jamas sentirme incomodo.
