My fiancé and I used this product to upgrade our 20 year old sliding door. Buying legitimate wood grills is hundreds of dollars. Using the adhesive trim, we were able to create the appearance of custom grills for only $50. It was such an easy way to make an old door look new, and more fancy! Also, the adhesive backing is strong. We’ve used this for a few other DIY projects and it has held, no issues.

I should have read the description more thoroughly, because these are not paintable.The reason for the 4 stars? It’s hard to get a straight line because these are so flexible, but it is mostly doable if you go really slow.The adhesive works great, and looks nice with the breadboard wallpaper I put up.Next time, I will buy a paintable one.

I created the cutest little nook in my bathroom. It was a small closet-like area and I didn't know what to do with it. Once I painted the area, it was a different color from the rest of the bathroom. So I needed something which would give a clean line of demarcation. The color I chose was a clean white and the edging matched the newly-painted nook completely. It covered the wall where the two paint colors met and my line was a little uneven. Now no one can tell! It looks like a master painter did it. And the edging is the perfect finishing touch. BUT...make sure you have it exactly where you want it. The adhesive is like monster glue. Once you stick it on, it's stuck!

absolutely useless and really cheap looking. Bought this instead of wood quarter round. OMG it is nowhere near a good faux floor molding. It's bright white, very cheap looking, too thick and very difficult to work with. Looks like something in a cheap office. Don't buy.

Goes up easily. It doesn't stick as well as I would have liked and if you don't hold it, it will move and shift slightly. It's great for small spaces on smooth surfaces.

I applied it along the joint between the floor and the baseboard because the edge of the floor was uneven. My OCD made it hard for me to ignore, but this trim strip solved the problem. Now it looks neat and beautiful — I’m really happy with it.
