Slip Silk Minnie Scrunchies, Classic Colors - Set of 6 | Gentle on Hair

Given all the negative reviews, I was super hesitant to buy these. I have two very specific purposes for wanting these: 1) two ponies to create a half up look (think mini space buns on either side of your head) 2) holding the ends of braids. These ARE tiny, but they’re meant to be to replace those mini rubber bands most people (including me) use. These also have way more stretch than other reviewers said, you can totally get these to wrap around your hair two times (if not more as they loosen up). I used my dog as a model (he takes his job very seriously), he has a ton of curly, thick hair (he’s a poodle mix). With his ponies, the scrunchies firmly held his hair just as-is, but I was able to put two ponies in my hair and wrap the scrunchie twice with no issue. If you aren’t looking to make a full pony tail you’re set and these fulfill the job and then some. If you want these to be a traditional scrunchie for a full ponytail, you’ll need to look elsewhere. They are very cute and will be replacing the rubber bands I normally use to hold my half up ponies and buns. WAY better for my hair too, definitely ready to stop ripping out so much hair at the end of the day 😂

These are an absolute joke. They came up in a search for “small scrunchie” as I looked for some silk ones for finer hair. Well, they are small. I checked the dimensions before ordering and they say 2” x 2.5”. NOT EVEN CLOSE. They are less than one inch in diameter. Sure, you can maybe use them for braids but that’s about it. I couldn’t believe how tiny this box was when it arrived today. I’ve included a photo with my normal adult-sized hand so no one else has to deal with this. And $49 for these!! Crazy!! I thought $49 for normal-sized scrunchies for thinner hair was a bit much but willing to pay as they are silk. I did pull one out and the stretch is maybe half an inch. These are not for anyone with full hair or maybe even adult fingers as they are just that tiny. Very disappointed—they are going back. Wish the measurements posted had been accurate.

Yes, these are TINY. But that's exactly what I was looking for, so I'm super happy with them. I bought them just to use at the end of the braids I sleep in, and they work perfectly. So, be prepared for very small (wraps around twice max), and not alot of stretch, but they're great! Wish they had a pack of neutrals

They DID come as described, BUT the stretch and material weren't satisfactory enough for me.

well made, quality product. very small, but perfect for fine hair. these are small, but they did not skimp on stitching, which is why I think the price is justified, as the construction is top notch

Same good quality as the normal sized ones. If you have very fine and thin hair like me, it will work, but it is hard since it doesnt fit around the wrist like a normal size version of these, it only fits 2-3 fingers. So it is harder to use. But I still like them a lot. Good quality. Update: due to their small size they only fit for about a day. And since they have no give to pull to wrap it more than once (especially if you have fatigue and body weakness/loss of strength)...its already too stretched but I cant stretch it around and its so much harder to use....now I need to buy more hair ties and these were already so expensive....which I know this brand is expensive but they are the best quality I have found for silk hair ties but the unfortunate thing is they over stretch and then they get so over stretched they are unusable. Especially having such fine and thinner than ever hair... :/

Love these. Keep in mind, they are TINY. I like them though because I can use them for the ends of braids or when sectioning off smaller sections of hair and I don't even have to wrap the scrunchie around twice. I just slip in on, and it's small enough to hold without having to wrap it around again, and it doesn't slip off. The elastic is pretty strong and tight. I can slip two fingers through and slide it on my hair, and that's about it. I struggle with the ends of my hair tangled and wrapped around elastics with braids, and I end up with broken hair when taking them out. I don't have to even think about that with these. I haven't found scrunchies this tiny with this intense of a hold before, and I love that Slip has these. I do think they should be a few dollars cheaper, though.

Look at other reviewers photos for accurate size. These are tiny! I love them, though. They’re perfect for a single loop around my thick hair for pigtails, or a double loop around the end of braids. They are definitely gentler on hair than other elastics. Highly recommend!

Love them for my daughter. Gentle on toddler curls. I can use them at the end of a braid. I bough the larger ones for myself, amazing.

I debated getting these for ages due to the high price however my hair is so fine that I need a smaller scrunchie for my braid. I am so glad I finally decided to get this, there is no other brand that does a scrunchie that fits my fine hair and it actually stays on. I wear these to sleep and it rarely falls off. Love these would buy again

Can’t event comfortably fit in 2 fingers, not practical, whatsoever.
