Can I put this inside a large cabinet

I would not. It does get pretty hot on the top. Under cabinet on countertop is fine though

Do you cook food in this like a regular over?

Yes! i’ve had it for about a year now and i’ve roasted a turkey for thanksgiving last year, baked cookies, baked many dishes like chicken, pork, beef, and shortbread. i’ve used my dutch oven (pot) for roasting and it’s been great. i love this little oven! It’s not just an oven it’s also a toaster! i highly recommend it!

Mine is lacking in this feature no matter where I place knob or how long I leave it—result is always same—crisp not toasted.
