I have used this hair color for years. It is a vibrant dark red, which I like, but I also use it to give my hair body, which it does. Although I still love it and use it, I believe that they have changed the formula through the years, because the color does not last as long as it used to, and it seems to me that it does not give quite as much body as it used to. That being said, it is still the best product I have found for my own needs, and I will continue to use it. Another plus is that I am allergic to many, many shampoos and hair products, but I have never had any allergic reactions or allergy problems with this product. I just hope that L'Oreal continues to make this product for many more years. I bought this color through Amazon, and as always, they were efficient and a joy to order from.

I am a huge fan of this line of hair color. During quarantine I decided I was going to be a red head since I have never been. I’ve tried every hair color except red. My natural hair color is black and I had not dyed my hair any color since I had my toddler. It was time. Decided to go with RR04 and I’m happy but wish it was more like the box. I wanted that warm rich red color and what I got was a darker version that only shows if I use this kind of lighting. It’s so much darker than I thought. Next time I might just go with a lighter red so it can show this color all the time. Either way I like it. It’s shiny and soft and I actually enjoy the smell. Would purchase again.

Bought this by accident. I needed Grey coverage. I thought since I bought it, I’ll still use it. BEST HAIR DYE EVER on my grey hair! WOW!!! Usually my grey coverage hair dye lasts 2 washes before fading. This isn’t even for grey hair and the Hair Dye is STILL Looking Amazing and my grey hair is still a beautiful red after 3 weeks. Best Mistake I Ever Made!!!

I was initially happy with the results as the color looks great and the application is easy. However, I’m disappointed with the longevity. Even with proper care, the color started fading much faster than expected. It’s a nice shade, but if you’re looking for something that stays vibrant for a long time, this might not be the best choice.

This is my favorite hair dye. I always love the color! This particular color is usually sold out at all stores.
