I will say I was skeptical, especially of spending this much money on something seemingly so simple that my wife could sew together but it definitely works and I feel like a black belt ninja dad when I close the door after a middle of the night feeding.We have the door handles that are quite large and swoopy, not like a regular knob and they fit over them well. We have 3 installed in our house, one for each of the bedrooms. Two of them are almost entirely silent and one make a bit of noise but its more due to the knob as it makes a slight spring compression noise when it closes.Having these on the door does not prevent slams due to wind but it muffles the noise when it bands to a lesser degree. Its biggest use for us is getting in and out of rooms of sleeping children without cringing as we turn the knob and pull the door closed.Higher sleeping ratio for children = a winner product to me.

These were a life saver when it came/comes to checking in on the little one. As well as going in and out of various room near by. Our little girl Mila would wake with every door closing and having to slowly open and close the doors actually becomes very tiresome when your trying to put a baby down to sleep multiple times a day. These worked so well I would highly recommend to anyone needing for similar purpose.Side Note: Even though there is padding in the Door Silencer, some of our doors would open on their own. I simply placed a cotton face pad (eye makeup remover size) on the door latch before putting the Door Silencer and that added the extra layer of thickness that was needed. Since first purchasing them I've had to add more cotton face pads over time. But really, when you have a little one who your trying to get to sleep being able to open and close the door without a care in the world actually is a BIG DEAL. One less thing to worry about. Would purchase again if needed. They still look brand new btw. Very nice quality.

I realized that you can use face masks and they do the same thing but better- because these are so thick, they don't let the door latch all the way. My face masks, the door shuts all the way but the latch is still quiet. They are waaaaay overcharging for these things. I returned them.

I had gotten a different brand of these bad they were too thick so our doors wouldn’t close. Returned and got these ones. These are a tiny bit thick but they work great! We have them on all the bedroom doors to be able to sneak into the kids rooms without making lots of noise. Great buy

Simple but effective product. We not only use them for both kids’ rooms, but for our own as well. And after getting our first ones and being so happy with the product, we bought more for the kids’ room at Grandma’s. When you have a difficult sleeper, the worst thing in the world is getting him to finally fall asleep and then the door waking him up. This has been a major major lifesaver for us. We even take one with us when traveling to visit family.

My three step children cannot figure out how to shut a door without it making the loud latching sound, so every weekday when they are in and out of bedrooms and the bathroom constantly and it drives me insane. I purchased these in lieu of removing the doors altogether until they figured out how to hold a handle down while shutting the door. Best things ever! No more annoying slamming/latching! Give the creator of these a Nobel prize.

Was hesitant to buy these since I thought they would be a waste of money, I was wrong. The help quiet the doors and even work as a protector for toddlers that like to close doors. Wish I didn't wait as long as I did to purchase them. Should have made the jump when my son was an infant.

I bought this for our door to our upstairs. My dog barks every time someone goes upstairs and it's right by our room. Our son moved into our upstairs and every time he'd come downstair the dog would bark. This has eliminated that problem by making the door opening and closing silent. Very happy with this.
