Mongoose Argus Trail Adult Fat Tire Mountain Bike, 24-26-Inch Wheels, Aluminum Hardtail Frame, Mechanical Disc Brakes, 2x8 Drivetrain, Rapid Fire Shifters, Multiple Colors

Absolutely beautiful bike, beautifully packed and arrived one day early! Love it!

I’m coming off a trek remedy 7 ($2500) and I love this bike, didn’t expect the quality, the performance, and the lightweight in a fat tire. I love this bike and now I can ride on the beach sand without peddling like a maniac, a few changes I’ll be making is a softer seat, maybe a more upright stem, and a lightweight clamp on kickstand, other than that it’s a beauty and would do it all over again, congratulations to mongoose for finally stepping up their quality to the days of the 80s when they were premiere bikes. (I’m 58j to think I tried to cancel this bike because I was apprehensive about mongoose quality! I’m glad it didn’t get cancelled and am very pleased with my purchase, rides like a $2500 bike. I use this bike for riding on the beach. It does pretty well in soft sand and is great on hard sand. For the money, it is an amazing deal. I expected that saltwater would eat it up in no time, I rinse it after every ride, but so far minimal signs of corrosion, which is untrue for anything else at my Beach place. I expected this to be a disposable unit and so far it’s holding up great.

We invested in this bike after the chain came off the mountain bike our son was riding causing him to crash into a guardrail and bending the forks. This bike is crazy sturdy and super light. Make sure that you double check the alignment of the disc brakes, so you don't hear that constant skuffing sound. We upgraded to air shock forks, but the stock forks were fine. The bike doesn't come with a kickstand or derailleur guard, so we would suggest investing in these 2 add ons. Other than that, our son is 5' tall and 90lbs and the 24" tire bike is the perfect size for him and the bike looks bad@$$ and so far operates amazingly.

I purchased this for my husband. He absolutely loves guys Mongoose bike. He says it handles very well and smooth in the rock, dirty roads. He's impressed with the wide tires and says they handle very well with a smooth ride.
