This thing is legit. Alto C 100% in tune. I'm pleasantly surprised with how easy and clear this is to play. In my opinion this is a great ocarina for takimg out and about. Its cheap enough that I woulsnt be heartbroken if it broke but it sounds nice enough im not frustrated to play it. The only negative is that it is quite dull sounding compared to a real Songbird Triforce Ocarina, that being said it is still sweet just not as bright. Overall, I would be comfortable giving this to a beginner to learn. This thing gets 5 stars from me because the quality you get for price is amazing.

My son is obsessed with The Legend of Zelda and was Link for Halloween. This ocarina was a great addition to his costume! But I regret my purchase... I didn't really expect my son to want to become an ocarina master. Sure, I knew he was going to play it; what kid wouldn't? I surely didn't forsee him playing it from sun up till sundown. Nor, had I expected an ocarina to be so detrimental to my sanity (which, is a very thin thread as of late). Thus, I also have never wanted to "accidentally" break an object so much in my life. I DIDN'T... but I desperately wanted to. BUT, I will never hinder my child's creativity, even if it means I want to bang my head into the wall just to hear a different sound other than the low hoots of the ocarina. All in all, if I had to buy another ocarina (my daughter does want one now as well), I'd definitely go with this seller and product; only AFTER I'd sound proof my house.

This 6-hole ocarina sounds and looks great, though inexpensive. It was delivered right on time (I chose the special two-day delivery). In fact, it was delivered early enough in the day of delivery-day 2 that I was able to use it in a recording session during my band rehearsal!

A little off tune but it was a gift for a child who loves Zelda. I call it a win. If fits in the palm of an average adult hand.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband who is obsessed with Zelda and he loves it! It sounds beautiful(reminds me of a bird) and my husband was very happy.

This was a gift for my 10-yr old granddaughter. The instrument comes with instructions and songs. My granddaughter learned to play it within a few hours. Sounded great.

You are going to get frustrated because it is badly tuned So don't think that you are bad at playing an instrument, what is really bad is the ocarina. But, as an ornament or as a collector's item, it is beautiful. For the price you know it's not a real instrument If you want something to learn how to play a ocarina - Search a little more - Stl Ocarina / SongBird...
