They get the job done.
It's a weightlifting shoe. I Originally bought the adistar 2008s over 10 years ago and I'm trying to use different shoes when I'm not aggressively lifting since they are triple or more the price from when I got them and I want them to last. The Adipower is ok by comparison. The toe bot accommodates my wide feet and I'm able to reasonably tighten them so my foot feels secure. I trust them more than the shoes with the weird tightening mechanism. You may not fall in love with them, but they aren't that expensive and have a non compressible heel. I think some other people talked about doing things other than lifting. They have little in the way of padding, which is good. I wouldnt suggest doing cardio or walking in them (I get sore from the foot up if i walk too long in lifting shoes). You can bend your foot enough for the split jerk if you Olympic Lift. It does well for squats and is good for push press, wall balls, etc

Premium quality squat shoes
These are pure squat shoes: raising your heels effectively lengthens your lower leg, making it easier to stay upright when you go deep (this is especially important if you have long femurs.) Don't try to deadlift in these though - you'll just fall forward.Right out of the box, these shoes ooze quality - they're heavy, sturdy where they need to be, but comfortable. I would recommend you go half to a whole size up on these - you can always strap yourself into the back of the shoe, but if it is too tight in front, you'll not be able to spread your toes for that extra stability and force production. All in all, not cheap, but absolutely worth it.

They’re ok.
It’s been about 6 months and I tried to like these adi’powers but they’re not as good their predecessor. They don’t feel as wide or as stable as advertised. Whenever I’m doing either of the Olympic lifts I never feel comfortable in my start position and the shoe tread isn’t as firm or as grippy as I thought they would be.... not worth the money I paid for them, but they get the job done I guess.

Good weighlifting shoe, but best for narrow feet
Similar build to last version of the adistar, but slightly more narrow and tighter. I sized down 2 sizes like the last time—to accommodate for a woman’s shoe size—but this pair is a lot tighter. 1.5 sizes may have been enough. After a few workouts, they feel good. The cloth upper makes the shoe more comfortable than its predecessor, but it also may be less durable. Time will tell.If you have a wide foot, this is probably not the shoe for you. My foot is super narrow and even for me, it feels tight.Very stable doing squats, presses, and the Olympic lifts.

Cheap shoe chunk of heel broke off.
I wore these maybe twice a week for benching , pressing and occasionally front squats. Big chunk of the heel right at the end broke off which is obviously the most important part of the stupid shoe. Shoes useless now a I’ve had them for 5 weeks so can’t return them. Not even close to the originals don’t waste your money.

Wonderful shoe, even better seller
First, the shoe is outstanding. It is so great, that I ordered it again. My first pair got stolen after only two months, but the seller when I told her this was so generous and nice, she gave me a $60 rebate for a replacement. I am so grateful for this kindness, even if you do not want this shoe, you will want to to shop with this seller as the service is hands down outstanding.

They run small, and very narrow across the toes.
I know Adidas tend to run small/narrow, so I ordered a half size larger than usual. They were probably still a whole size too small- big toes touched the very end and the toe box and was too narrow. My foot is wider than the sole in the toe box area! Heel and midfoot fit well. If it had fit, I probably would have kept them, but it's worth noting that the black and neon green colourway is ugly. They look like specialist cycling shoes. I see why this is the only colour available for such a price.

Sized down for women's fit(size 4)! Perfect!
Weightlifting shoes are ridiculously overpriced. Most are over $250 and that's the same case with these. However, for some reason these were on sale at $105 so I grabbed them after hearing multiple people on Reddit weightlifting forums suggest them.If you are a female, size down 1 size for these (not 1.5 as usually recommended). I am a size 5 women's and sized down to a 4 men's and they fit nice and snug, almost too snug, from the outside I thought they would be too big and I would need an insole but that is not the case. They have some slight heft to them, odd to walk in as front is flat and not curved as in standard shoes. So, only wear these for the gym/weightlifting and not for any treadmill running or otherwise. You can see the comparison between my cheap Ardene's hack around shoe length/tip curve compared to the Adipowers.I would wait for a sale if you're looking to buy them at the regular $230 as they're selling them at $105 and still making a profit here- beyond that seems gouging.

Overhead squat like a champ
These are great! They are my first pair of lifters, so i don't have anything to compare them to, but I've been lifting since 2014 several times per week and never used lifters before until now. These are a game changer, especially for overhead squats where my mobility is good, but not great. I'm a size 8 ladies and these 6.5 men's fit perfectly. Don't love the black on black, but i don't hate it either.
