Awesome gift. Highly recommended.
Best wooden one yet to build. As for easy to assemble, that question is misleading. Directions were great but it was challenging at times. Even had to check out a video at one point. In the end, it was a great gift to do through the holiday break and it really works.

Fun project
Turned out absolutely beautiful. The instructions were easy enough to follow. My brother and I were able to finish it in about two days (this was full of breaks though). It also played music! It’s obviously not great music because it is a hand crank and I didn’t want to break it by using too much force, but very cool nonetheless. The kit also came with extra pieces in case some were broken when assembling it. We didn’t need to use those extra pieces because we were very careful, but it was a good backup if needed. This is a fun project to do that also doubles as a beautiful art piece once done!

Challenging but rewarding project.
Spent my time over 4 days putting this together, savoring every moment! Only broke one piece but glue solved that problem. One of the wires serving the stylus came away from the metal prong but I managed to fix it. Finished item looks great and plays music with a fairly decent sound quality and adjustable volume level.
