Chamberlain Group G8808CB-P Chamberlain 8808CB 8-Foot, Compatible Whisper Drive Plus Models, Includes Replacement Belt Garage Door Opener 8 Ft Rail Extension Kit

One of the easiest upgrades/ replacement / addition kit to be done for the door from 7 foot to 8 foot doors. Great quality. Great pricing. Great connectivity.

This worked perfect on a new install. I knew I had an 8ft door. The factory rail kit works for shorter doors. Simply replace the one end of the track with the one included in this kit. I was able to install everything by myself.

The 8' extension kit is well made and works well. This extension kit is a must have item to get a new Chamberlain GD opener to travel the full 8' needed to fully open a standard 8' tall garage door; as the standard new Chamberlain door opener as sold only opens 7'. The kit is a great fix for a substandard new Chamberlain GD opener unit that does not replace an older opener. Chamberlain should just sell both a 7' and 8' garage door opener assembly without requiring you to order the extension kit as an add on which results in the wasting of the original 7' opener supplied belt as well as the original last part of extension pole which is wasteful and an extra expense on the purchaser and burden to the local landfill.

Had this installed by a professional. Quiet when operating. Really like the remote app feature that allows me to open/close the door remotely and/or check on the status of closure in case I "can't remember" if I closed it when leaving.

This worked as expected- was easy to install and pretty easy to do. Worth the money and expected quality for chamberlain.

I didn't realize the garage door opener I bought was only for a 7' door until after I was almost done installing it. This extension had everything I needed to extend the opener to accommodate my 8' door. Very easy to install, just replace the front section of track and the belt. I had to move my opener back as well since I had already mounted it with the shorter track. Works just as good as the original track just gives the extra length needed for an 8' door.

Safe and good

Lo compre para abrir mi portón crrediso que mide 2.80 más y alcanzo muy bien

Perfect for a Taller Garage Door This Chamberlain extension kit is a practical solution for an 8-foot garage door. The parts feel sturdy and well made, and everything fits together nicely with the compatible belt-drive opener. Installation was straightforward with the instructions, and once installed, the garage door operated smoothly. It saves the hassle of trying to make a standard rail work with a taller door. A worthwhile addition if you have a compatible Chamberlain opener and an 8-foot garage door!

Llego bien y en buenas condiciones

Exact kit needed for 8ft doors. Comes with 8ft belt and 1 rail piece for the end closest to garage door. This rail piece replaces the end piece in your 7 foot rail when you buy your garage door opener. Just swap them. Also comes with a plastic bag containing emergency red handle with rope. Master link to join belt ends and new spring with the orange picture card to adjust spring tension properly to 1 and 1/4 inches length. Just line up picture with spring. Picture is true to size. All in all great kit but pricy. Amazon has the best price though.
