Do they make a bunch of noise when you walk?** A: No, they are cloth backed ("non-woven"). the padded area and areas around it are moisture proof, but the side wings are not. The side wings are fully breathable and would let wetness through, if wetness came around to the side. They make absolutely NO noise under clothing and work very well. **Q: How much fluid can it hold?** A: It holds a lot. It’s good for 10-12 hours **Q: Are these plastic backed? Are any of these plastic backed** A: We did not actually use these as my dad didn't need anything this diaper like. My sister is 70 & bedridden. She's 5"1 130lbs & a size 6 or medium in women's clothes.Therfore, i bought the medium & it worked perfect! I've no idea how many times she goes,in 10 hrs she sleeps but it's alot. The only brands I've been extremely satisfied with are NorthShore,Abena & Tranquility. NorthShoreCare.com will send you samples, of several brands. In fact, the only reason,i know how good thier brand is, is because i ordered samples of the Abena & Tranquility. The representative was extremely helpful. She offered free samples & i would put thier max brief up against any other! It fit okay, but was a little bit on the short side going up the front and back. It had good absorbency and went three wetting without any issue. It probably could have handled another. The only real issue I had was when I had to reposition one of the four tapes and it would not stick again.
