Best purchase ever
I tried to purchase these from the Weck’s website, but they were sold out, so this was my next choice. Luckily, it was listed at the same price with no additional shipping fees here, so I was happy purchasing them here. These are phenomenal and I have nothing bad to say about them. They are beautiful, durable, and wash great in the dishwasher. Everyone at work always compliments my jars because the lunch I bring in them always looks so sophisticated. I have had no spillage and so far none of them have broken. I am so happy with this purchase. I wish I had purchased them a long time ago before they became trendy on social media because now they are more expensive, but they are still worth the price because they will last for years if you take care of them.

Very well satisfied.
We've made gradual efforts over the years to migrate away from all plastics for food storage in our household. I've tried out stainless steel as well, but the issue there is that I wanted to be able to see what's stored in the container without having to open it up. Therefore, stainless was never going to be the solution. I have been looking for a few years for the perfect glass food storage containers. I've bought and tried several versions including low-rise, wide-mouth Ball/Mason type jars, and a variety of other models as well. For the most part, these products served my needs, but I also noticed that I never managed to stick with any of these items long range. For some reason or another, even without noticing, I'd migrate back to some type of ostensibly BPA free, plastic containers. But this time I was very serious about it. When I was a kid, I recall my great grandmother used to have a wide variety of le Parfait and Mason glass jars around the house. There were literally 4 or 5 dozen of them that could be found scattered about in a small storage area on her back porch where she kept all of her canning supplies, or rows and rows of them on shelves, filled with a variety of foods, patiently waiting (sometimes for years/decades) to be savored. She'd make preserves and things, pickle all kinds of vegetables, etc. It was a true wonder when we got together at an impromptu family reunion and decided enjoy a jar of pickled okra and pickled baby corn from the last batch my grandpa made some 25 years earlier. While the colors had faded a bit, the food remained flavorful and crunchy. Just amazing even thinking about it. While very attracted to the le Parfait containers, I didn't like the inflexibility of the permanently-affixed, clamp lid. It just wasn't convenient enough for how I intended to use them. Also, the price point was above what I really wanted to pay. Because the Weck jars had the optional plastic lid, and a much better price, I was all in on for this product, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I look forward to buying some different styles and sizes. The glass lids, rubber seals, and metal clips are a nice touch if I was using them for canning, or as a gift. But, I use these a couple times a day, so I like the convenience of being able to pop the plastic lid on or off. Not a big deal either way I suppose, but yeah, you'll love these. Get yourself a set.

Excellent for leftovers, excellent for canning, good value
Love these. Love them so much, I am back to buy another batch of six. They are the perfect size for leftovers in the fridge, stack two high with no problem, store food so it's visible, large openings are easy to wash out, glass lids eliminate the need for plastic wrap to cover bowls, and are reusable indefinitely. In three years, our family has broken one bowl and one lid of a set of six, which is amazing given the abuse they've taken. I have used these to can as well, and the process is a little different than the Ball jars, but it all works if you follow instructions. I am pleased that they are reusable indefinitely. Weck suggests that you replace the seal after each use for canning, but I don't see a need for that as long as you inspect the seal before use and test that the seal is still good before opening each jar. You will want to get either a canning key for breaking the seal when it's time to open your jars, or very, very carefully wrap a needle nose pliers in cloth and use that to roll the sealing ring's tongue out just enough to break the seal. I ruined my first jar's rubber ring by stretching it out of shape permanently when I pulled and pulled on the ring to remove it. These are now a staple in our kitchen, both for every day use for storing individual portions of food (two cups worth) from batch cooking and for seasonal canning should my Ball jars and lids run short. They go from fridge to microwave beautifully. Don't use them for freezing would be my one caution; the shape of the bowl isn't suitable. We love them for everything. Weck hit a home run with this one.

What can I say but I love these jars. Not only are they a Joy to look at but they are very practical and sturdy. They are a work horse in my kitchen and I cant get enough of them. I can make a homemade hummus or dip and store it in there and then pop off the top and serve it in the same jar. Love love Weck!

Fabulous almost
Arrived safely despite the packaging already addressed by many, and look great. They stack nice. con; only one con really, they come with 2 clamps and it takes 3 clamps to do it right. out of the 6 delivered one jar actually had 3 clamps but the other 5 had 2 . Not sure why this shape is so appealing but it is.
