There are not many options as an Indian when it comes to gaming ultrawides in the 1440p segment. There is LG 34WP65C, MSI Optix MAG342CQR and this one. Dell's S3422DWG offers the most bang for the buck features and quality. Has a really strong and sturdy stand, good curve rating at 1800R. HDR 400 rating is really bright and vibrant, I usually turn this off as its too bright for me personally. It has AMD Freesync OOB, but no G-Sync officialy. G-Sync can still be turned ON in Nvidia's settings if needed. I felt these sync options result in flickering at lower frames, so I just turned them off and I have not faced any issue. I have a PC running on a RTX 3070, and face zero issues running AAA games on this monitor. Played Horizon 5, Cyberpunk 2077 at High to Ultra settings at >80FPS. Its a visual treat. Just go for it. (y) Edit: I got it for 45000 INR. Not sure why the price is so inflated now.

Some noteworthy points - 1. HDMI only supports upto 100Hz at full 3440x1440 because of bandwidth limitation of hdmi 2.0 standard. However, full 144hz can be achieved at lower resolution. 2. Display port supports full 144Hz at any resolution. 3. HDR is automatically turned on when supported signal is provided over HDMI. Tested with PS5, it was also able to achieve full 120hz at 4K rendering with HDR turned on. However the display will be scaled as PS5 does not support Wide 21:9 4. I had only used HRR IPS monitors in the past, so this is my first VA monitor. I was skeptical about the colors first but it turned out great! There is a little bit of color smearing but that’s expected from VA panel. It’s definitely not noticeable during gaming but only when scrolling webpages. There is also a little bit of color shift when viewed from sides 5. Do not that It does NOT have inbuilt speakers but it has an audio out which you can connect to external speaker setup, the overall volume is also good. It is set to 50% by default which needs to be adjusted in the monitors OSD. At around 42k it is definitely a pricy monitor but it’s a good one!!

Been using since May 2022, very good monitor for gaming and productivity. Brightness is good at around 500 nits in HDR mode. The monitor works fine at 3440x1440 at 144Hz with the display cable. HDMI cable goes only upto 100Hz. VRR works great from 48 to 144hz. The display has flickering issues if your pc outputs around 60 fps. Running with my 2070 super so no issues encountered. If you encounter flickering issues you can turn off VRR. PS5 works with black borders on both the sides as expected. Check out rtings review for picture quality. The curve is very subtle looks good if you are coming from flat panels. Good monitor considering other options and prices for other monitors.

Used it for some time now with zero issues, it's a beautiful piece of hardware. Just the perfect amount of curvature. 3440x1440p 144fps gaming is amazing experience and highly recommend this monitor for users dipping their toe into the ultra wide pool.

Amazing display and multi device connection and PIP is the advantage

Works great with both Mac and windows. You can use this on default scaling when connected to a mac!

Like : Everything Dislike: lack of usb - c and KVM switch For techies like me who could face blur/pixelated issue with old laptop do below: Most importantly, check with your intel graphics console or nvidia console that it can project a 2560*1080 minimum resolution and NOT 1920*1080 else picture will come blurry. I did that tuning manually on my dell laptop that had only 1920x1080 highest. I used intel graphics console which was my default hdmi output and created new resolution dimensions. After many rejections by the system, it finally accepted 2560*1080 with 60 HZ and picture was awesome.

This monitor is an absoute mess. The color reproduction is so week, your eyes will pain in using it for while. I connected this to my mac book pro using Display Port cable provided and connected through apples adaptor. Whenever I turn off or on any switches in the room, be it fan, light, or increase or decrease fans speed, the monitor turns off for few seconds and doesnt turn on. I reported this incident to Dell right after it was delivered (I bought it through dell store) and raised a replacement request under warranty on the same day of delivery. Though there is warranty, Dell support is absolutely worst. They wont respond, nor replace. Dont waste your money. Its always better to go for LG than this. I have a monitor thats unusable sitting idle and doesnt work. My advice - Avoid this hassle. Buy a reliable and trusting brands.

In sede lavoro con un Dell U3419W e lo trovavo stupendo (stessa risoluzione, ma 60 Hz) per un lavoro d'ufficio (no videogiochi, no multimedia). Il Dell U3419W si trova a un prezzo superiore ai 900 euro. Poi ho trovato questo monitor a quasi la metà del prezzo. Ero un po' in dubbio: quale differenza conta circa 400 euro di differenza? Altro dubbio: il Dell U3419W veniva inteso da ufficio, mentre questo è pubblicizzato per il gaming. Andrà bene per quello che mi serve? Fatte un po' di ricerche su internet, questo monitor risultava ottimo, quindi l'ho comprato. Risultato? Ottimo! Lettura: mi trovo benissimo, anzi la nitidezza nel leggere testo è migliore del Dell U3419W. HDMI/DisplayPort: anche solo la versione HDMI è ottima. I 60 Hz (anzi, 50 Hz sul Mac) sono piu' che sufficienti: l'esperienza di un classico monitor. Ho comunque preso un cavo di conversione DisplayPort->Usb-c e ho raggiunto i 144Hz. Che dire? Ottimo! La differenza si vede nella fluidità (anche se ne potrebbe far a meno nell'ambito di lavori da ufficio). Comodità: il sostegno e' stabile, i movimenti per aggiustare la posizione sono fluidi, facili, senza il minimo scricchiolio. Youtube e multimedia: si vedono splendidamente.

Énormément de ghosting. Texte littéralement illisible lorsqu'on scroll. Textures floues dans les jeux des qu'il y a du mouvement. Autant pour la bureautique que le gaming; extrêmement décevant pour son prix, pour ma part il est même carrément inutilisable, ce pourquoi je le retourne. Je sais que c'est une dalle VA, mais mon ancien écran également et il n'avait pas autant de problèmes à l'actualisation. Nb: j'ai également tenté de modifier les paramètres, je l'ai calibré, j'ai tenté toutes les atténuations potentielles trouvée sur des forums, rien n'y fait.

I bought this screen for gaming, to be honest, it is better than my expectations. Nice price and great product.

Imagem excelente, não há o que reclamar (nenhum vazamento de luz, nem pixel com falha). Vale muito apena em uma promoção abaixo de 2900. DICAS IMPORTANTES: Lembrem de atualizar o firmware para a versão M3C107 (pesquise no site da dell driverid=yhrmv). Se for usar em ambiente escuro, coloque o brilho entre 1% e 10% e o contraste em 30%, com a configuração "Jogo > Estab. Escuro" = 1, e Tempo de Resposta = Super Rápido. Seja feliz!
