Toddler loves it!
My almost 2 year old loves this set. He plays with it everyday. It’s been a week and a half. He’s never played this long with one toy before. Pros: Makes color and number recognition fun- he’s been very vocal about naming the colors wherever he sees them! Good sturdy wood vehicles They even roll easily on carpet Love that it comes with 6 of them including the buildings Hours of playtime, I just recently made a town w our Amazon boxes (flattened and drew roads on it) Nesting is great. You can nest the buildings and put the cars inside of that to make it easy for transport or storage. Easy toy to bring on vacation. Cons: If your kid puts this in their mouth or plays rough the paint will chip off. It’s been 1.5 weeks and there is some wear already showing on the vehicles. I can see the buildings being stomped on and getting crushed. Sturdy but not indestructible. Wish they were made of wood as well.

Melissa and Doug Products are Excellent
This a a versatile toy. You can match by number, color and size, stack and nest. The wooden cars go fast and it’s a great teaching tool toy. I’d say the only downside is that the garages are made of cardboard, sturdy but still could be chewed or bashed in if your child is destructive. This appears to be a newer version of an older product (which I liked better because the cars were also sized differently). I don’t know why M&D made the change.

Fun, will not last forever
Fun but not made to last. I get it, it’s cardboard with a sticker on top, so my expectations aren’t super high. My kids love the buildings and play with them often. I also got paper tape that looks like a road, and the combo has provided hours of fun. My kids don’t stack them or use the cars that came with, fwiw. They are 2.5 and 4.5 years old.

Fun, colorful, educational
These were a gift for my grand child. She loved them. They store away nicely without talking up a lot of space. She gets them out again and again to play with them and then puts them up again out of sight in her toy closet. The only complaint is the garages are made of cardboard, not wood so they’re not as sturdy as I’d hoped. I guess we’ll see how durable they are as time passes.

Melissa and Doug never fails to satisfy.
I've been purchasing items from Melissa and Doug for years. Truly, I know that I can always expect high quality merchandise that will maintain its color and purpose for years. This particular set of nesting boxes is adorable. It's strong and lightweight so I know it's going to be around as long as my grandchildren will be! The blocks are stable and easily stack, and of course with imagination they are used for lots of entertaining purposes. The size is large enough for little hands to easily grab. These are great item to add to any toy box.

So many ways to play!
One of my kids’ all time favorite toys! We got it when they were 1.5 and 5.5, and they are now 3 and 7, and still play with it often. There are so many things to do with this toy. Stack the garages, match the vehicles to the garages, stack the vehicles on the garages, talk about the colors and numbers, etc. The garages are made of a strong cardboard, which surprised me because I feel like Melissa and Doug toys are always wooden. So they are not the most sturdy/durable garages, but they are holding up fine. We love it!
