These are great for cleaning corrosion from contacts. They are to solder pads what magic eraser is to kitchen counters. works great. Just take care not to wipe with hand. Had trouble soldering some old Deans connectors. Tried cleaning the pads with alcohol and a stiff brush to no avail. A couple of swipes with this and it was like soldering brand new connectors.

I’d seen these used on a couple of YouTube channels so I bought these. You get three sizes but they seem to be pretty much the same. Not sure what the difference is. They are all great at cleaning small things, like little wheels and electrical contacts. They pretty durable and like a mechanical pencil you turn the tip and more fibre comes out. Very happy with this purchase.

I like it very much for it works very well on oxidized electrical appliances' prongs. If you ever insert a plug and see arcing or worse popping your electrical panel breakers like what had happened to my laundry&dryer combo unit. It is because of corrosion that is preventing good contact. Give it a few polishing strokes with these pens and gotten rid of problem for good.

Like to have these around. Keep one in the office, the kitchen, my shop, basically anywhere that I would be changing batteries. Works well to clean the contacts.
