Hi. Dont no why but the bar sits under my chin in betwwen the 2 studs. Does anybody have the same situation?.

Anyone do lunges with this? Any issues?

the bottom length is about 4" too long for adequate front or lunge crotch clearance for the average height lifter. I removed 4", welded new attachment tabs and can now use the harness comfortably.

Does it hit the crotch area when you squat down? It looks too long.

I'm 5' - 7", and this does not "hit the crotch". You'd have to be really short in order to worry about this.
