What are the actual physical sizes of the 20" carry-on?

The suitcase itself is about 21 inches with the handle, about 23 1/2 inches with the wheels, 14 inches wide and about 10 inches deep. I had been concerned that the over all inches exceeded the airline carryon limit but, my husband and I took two of them all over the US and out of Rome and they considered them carryon size. We didn't want to carry ours so, we pre-checked them, paying ahead. In Rome they explained that they didn't charge for those "little" ones and that maybe the airline would refund the fees but, they don't. I love this set of suitcases.
