Wow! I love this product. I am in my 40s, have dry/combination, sensitive skin. For many years I have purchased high end cleansing balms and oils - brands such as Elemis & Pai, but they are getting so expensive that I had to find an affordable alternative. I had already used many of Cerave's other products including their cream to foam fash wash, but I like to use an oil or balm to take off my make-up/first cleanse. I would say that this cleanser is more of a gel to foam consistency, which I love. It does foam up with a small amount of water on your fingers, but not much foam - again this is a bonus for me, because super foaming cleansers can be too harsh & damaging. Since using this product, I have noticed my skin has really balanced out! I think it's because it doesn't have any fragrance like a lot of high end balms. It's also not as oily as balms or oil cleansers, so it's suitable for my combination skin! The value for money is incredible with this product & all Cerave products - they last me a good 6-9 months (236ml)! It's time to stop believing that affordable products such as Cerave are 'not as good' as high end products! In fact, in some cases they are better for your overall skin-health. I highly recommend this product.

I love this facial wash. Gentle in my 50+yo skin. My daughter loves it too. Lovely & foamy - really feels like my face is being washed. Leaves it feeling clean & ready to absorb my oils/serums/creams etc. Great value bottle with pump. Wish there was a refill pack available to refill the pump bottle.

Good quality skincare at such a good price. Very hydrating and great if you want a wash you can use on your face and body in the shower

This is a good all-rounder. It definitely dissolves mineral sunscreen, though you might have to wash your face twice to achieve that. Doing a double cleanse did leave my skin feeling slightly tight, though nothing too severe. It’s also worth noting the pricing: even if the standard retail price looks similar to CeraVe’s other cleansers, I’ve found it rarely gets marked down as cheaply as the rest of the range when sales come around. When this bottle runs out, I’ll be trying other products to see if I can find something either more cost-effective or more effective at dissolving sunscreen in a single wash.

This has been a god send for my sensitive, flare up prone skin! I often get super sensitive, red & swollen skin around my eyes due to reactions to various skincare products/makeup. Every other cleanser I’ve used (including others by this brand) always stings and further irritates my skin. THIS, however, is so so gentle but effective at cleansing and hydrating. My skin feels clean but not like it’s going to crack from dryness which can sometimes be the case from other ‘hydrating’ cleaners. 100% recommend. Sensitive skin friendly.

It is a good face wash. It says fragrance free ,but there is a natural fragrance and the scent is one of the things I like about this product.

Fantastic hydrating cleanser. This is the least stripping clenser I've found. It even beats balms from clinique and elemis. This foaming oil cuts through my makeup and spf with ease, leaves my skin feeling like silk, not at all tight and no oily film at all. Truly, I think this may be my holy grail cleanser. Especially great if you find balms too heavy or as a step after them that doesn't leave a tight feeling as part of a double clense. My skin sits between normal to dry and tretinoin/retinoids can make it sensitive. This clenser doesn't irritate at all. It feels gentle yet makes short work of even waterproof makeup while being easy to rinse off. Almost like you get the benefits of a balm with the ease of a foaming clenser in one easy step. Highly recommended

Buen limpiador la verdad, nunca había usado esta marca y la verdad que limpia muy bien la cara. Tengo 57 años y me pongo maquillaje muy fluido cada día y la verdad que me quita hasta el rimel de los ojos que es todo lo que me pongo en ellos, no me escuecen y eso que a veces no me acuerdo de que llevo las lentillas puestas y aun asi ni pica ni nada. Tengo la piel de normal a mixta y a mi me va de perlas. Gracias.

J’ai acheté cette huile lavante CeraVe parce que j’ai la peau très sèche, qui tiraille et pèle facilement après la douche. Après quelques utilisations seulement, j’ai vu une vraie différence : en sortant de la douche, ma peau est douce, confortable, et je n’ai plus ces zones qui pèlent.La texture est agréable : c’est une huile qui mousse légèrement au contact de l’eau, sans être décapante. Elle nettoie bien mais reste très douce, on sent que la peau est respectée. Je n’ai plus cette sensation de sécheresse immédiate que j’avais avec d’autres gels douche classiques.Les céramides, triglycérides et le squalane semblent vraiment faire leur travail : ma barrière cutanée est beaucoup moins agressée, même en plein hiver. Je peux même parfois sauter l’étape de la crème hydratante sans que ma peau me démange, ce qui n’était jamais le cas avant. Je recommande vivement cette huile lavante CeraVe à ceux qui ont la peau sèche ou qui pèle après la douche. Elle nettoie en douceur tout en laissant la peau souple et hydratée, sans agresser la barrière cutanée.

Doesn't leave my skin tight or stinging. Very gentle and non-greasy. I didn't get dry skin this winter. I have combination oil skin but this doesn't feel oily at all. It's just very hydrating. Worked very well with my Foreo Luna.
