I bought this brush to replace my Art of Shaving brush. I had some doubts, but it is wonderful. One of the things I really like it the weight of the brush. It is much heavier than I expected but I like that. It feels like you are holding something of substance. The bristles seem well attached and are nice and firm creating a great lather.

Excellent shaving brush. Easy to clean. Soft feel on the skin. Creates nice lather. Good size.

Nice brush, I'm happy with it. I give four stars because it feels like low end silver tip, I've owned softer in the past but payed much more

I was so pleased with this brush that I bought another one. I've tried a cheap 100% badger brush for $18 and it sucked and never got soft enough. I've tried Dr Squatches $28 synthetic brush and that one is only good for painting it on, it doesn't work at all with squishing the bristles flat to your face and building a lather. This one is both soft and great for lather building and after the 2 week break in it performs pretty incredible. I use this with Taylor of Old Bond Street creams and soaps and in a metal or marble lather bowl, works with both. I doubt I could tell too much of a difference between this and a $140 brush. I would rather use this one because its plenty good, that's why I bought another one. Need a budget brush? This is it Also, I will post any problems if they arise. As of this post the brush has been going strong since October '19 Still going strong on the same first brush- July 2020 and have reached maximum softness to where I dont feel a single poke *Update #2 - March 2021 Still on the same brush even though I bought another backup. Love it still. I've moved to another place that has really hot water that steams a lot. This has made the brush even softer yet like a cloud brushing against my face. I can barely feel the bristles and its simply glorious. But make sure not to get the hot water too close to the handle, I've heard that it can ruin the glue and the bristles will fall out. I have not had that problem yet and will post if a problem arises. I have a feeling I won't be using the next brush until I feel its not sanitary. This brush is a workhorse. You will NOT regret buying it.

Very impressed - bristles seem to be very high quality, no shedding/smell. Lathers up really nice. The base really is heavy duty. It is a bit wider than my previous brushes so had to buy a new stand to hold it. See for stand https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FFH44TQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Not really a downside but it is a fairly short handle and after owning generally lighter brushes in the past, takes a bit of getting used too since the bottom is so heavy. A plus for me as after lathering up, the brush edge leans right on the edge of my shaving mug perfectly without sticking out/falling out.
