and i'm ok with that. he can only eat soft food now at (almost) 20yo and these "meat strings" are perfect for him to munch and digest. quality ingredients make everything even better. really, really wish the price was cheaper. on a side note: this review asked me for a 1-5 star-rating for the "Flavor". since i have never tasted this (or any other) cat food, i am entrusting this company not to be lying about the flavor...nor do i want my cat to lie either, so i'm just going on smell and the fact that he covets it. i will not taste this, amazon. you can't make me. My cat seems to love it. I like that it doesn’t have any fish oil. Wellness is reputed to be a good brand so I always go with their foods, and my cat has been healthy and happy with a shiny coat for the last 7 years

Product looks OK looks tasty but it seems to upset my cats stomach. After a couple days of using it she is throwing up everywhere not sure why might just be too rich I do have a finicky cat. Would I buy it again not for my cat as her sensitive some stomach and Finickiness, no. But it could be good for other peoples cats probably.

My eldest cats (age 4) are horribly picky. Not just your regular, to be expected cat pickiness. These girls will not touch about 70% of wet foods on the market, and we have tried a ton of them. The ones they will eat, is often just to trick me into a false sense of relief, as they won't eat it a second time. This is usually after I buy a 24 pack in my foolish happiness that they are eating. Luckily I have 8 more cats that I take care of who are not so difficult; some are my friendly ferals in my yard). Signature Select shreds is the holy grail. They eat it rapturously each and every time. (They don't care for the other styles). It has good ingredients and even looks hi-qual; doesn't stink and doesn't splatter out when I open the can. Unfortunately, this joy comes at a high price: $3.50 a 5 oz can at full price. I only buy it when it's a good Subscribe n Save deal, like $28 for 12 x 5 oz cans, making it $2.35 a can. Even that is a lot for me, considering I go through 5 or 6 cans a day, supplemented with dry food. I'm not down to spend $90/week on wet cat food, so my diva darlings eat it when we get it, and the others get a little scoop here n there. Hey, the squeaky wheel gets the most oil!
