One Note Symphony: Live In Tel Aviv

If you're an Alan Parsons fan, what's not to like about the CDs and DVD video in this album? I've listened to it more than ten times, and look forward to every listen. I don't normally bother with concert videos, but the DVD of this performance is well worth watching. Seeing a full orchestra playing with the up-front musicians is especially impactful, as it supports the full force of this music. How could it be otherwise? When I was a lad, I took a chance on the very first APP album, Tales of Mystery and Imagination, because it looked different from so much of the typical dreck popular at that time (around 1976-77). I was hooked. Then came I Robot, followed by many others. Hearing so many works from these albums in this live concert is a treat because the arrangements are so good and the musicianship is first rate. I'm especially enjoying the drumming. You really can't go wrong with this album if, like me, you are a fan of the multi-talented Alan Parsons and his many creative works. So glad I bought this!

This Set includes a CD & a DVD of this fabulous concert! Get comfortable and turn it up! If you are an Alan Parsons fan, you are going to LOVE this concert! And it's nice & long, so they had an intermission when it was performed live. I was sorry it was over, but then the band came back & performed a lit longer! The sound is very good & it was just the large TV's sound bar. A great stereo system would meven better! better! Enjoy!

The recording quality is excellent.

If you are or have ever been a fan, this is a must buy. A great variety of songs. Pj Olsson, their lead singer, sings all the "best of" and his voice is so perfect for these songs. It's hard for me to listen to the original recordings because Pj does them to perfection.

Perfect. Again. Alan Parsons knows how to put it all together with the different lineups he’s had. 12 live shows and numerous autographs are still not enough for me. Neverend.

Great show. Audio and video are fine. Yes, there are better technical audiophile recordings, but the Alan Parsons and Israeli Philharmonic combination make this a great addition to any collection.

This product arrived well within the time framework promised. I think the price was very. fair, and the CD is worth waiting for. I am very pleased with this purchase. Bo

While AP did release a concert with orchestra in Colombia in 2013, I actually feel that this concert is better. To start off with, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra is well known. However, while the packaging says Dolby Stereo and DTS 5.1 Surround sound on the packaging for the DVD, it is actually Dolby 5.1 Surround sound. Some audio aficionados will not like this. Outside of the sound issue, there are no extras. However I found the audio quality [in Dolby 5.1] still quite good and visual production was better than the Dutch release a few months prior. Silence and i was a big highlight as you could hear the orchestra well in it. All tracks features the orchestra - some just a bit of a song, some for the the full song. The DVD package includes the audio CDs of the same show [less the song Miracle].

Ich finde, dass es doch sich lohnt auch wenn man das Konzert in Niederlande hat. Es ist halt mit Orchester und viel besseres Bild ( wegen BühnenLicht und Präsentation) die zu Msik von alan parsons passt. für Alan Parsons Fans wären beiden Konzerten einen Pflichtkauf.
