Can i use this item on conga drums and if so do i need to purchase anything else to make it work?

This is NOT a microphone. It is a trigger that will send vibration to a drum module (electric drums).

Would this be compatible with the Alesis mesh kick pad?

Not in my opinion without some modifications. My Alesis, DM10 Studio, does use the plug type connector. Where Pintech is using this cylinder pad Alesis uses a shorter cone. The Pintech pad mounts directly to the piezo where the Alesis mounts to a piece of plastic and the piezo is mounted underneath.
