You need this to complement you speaker investment
OK - , I didn't need this but I bought it as an extra item to fulfill my Amazon order minimum. This is a wrapper for my speaker is a 100% fit and really make my Sony stand out as more than a cheap knock-off. I would recommend this to anyone that buys the speaker to get this protective shell. My grandkid has used this in the hocker locker room for 2 years and the speaker is still working at 100%.

Good Quality Cover for XB100...But maybe not great value.
I'm fairly impressed with the fit of the cover and how well it lines up with the little lights and buttons. It looks good such that it is not obvious the silicone cover is not an original OEM part of the speaker. The little feet work good to stabilize it, although I think the speaker generally sounds better in the vertical position. I just think the silicone cover is more expensive than it should be (it cost about half the cost of the speaker). I think the price should be in the 10 buck range and about half what I paid. I would also like to see an offering of a discount to buy a pair of these in considering that two of these speakers can be paired for stereo reception. I have no concerns about the product, but one star off for being overpriced (but maybe I'm just cheap, and yes, I still bought it).
