Program Oral Treatment for Large Dogs 45-88 Lbs.

Noted to be for 'large dogs' 45-88 lb and etc, turns out they say that you have to use 2 of the tablets for the large dogs, leaving you with a total of three months treatment. INACCURATE LABELLING!!!!. look at my "edit" below. , and the product should be properly assigned the dosage that matches its proper weight units!!!!!.edit:........ Actually, their description of dosage is wrong. 409.+ mgs, ONE singe tab, is for POUNDS 45-88. They have confused directions--kgs. and not lbs. I looked it up on my previous pkg. from the vet, of the USA prep. Dosage is 409+ mg. per dog of that weight span -- 45-88 and not 2 per 21+ KG. Watch it!!! Their second line, re: two tablets...etc..SHOULD BE IGNORED. 21-40 big. IS 45-88 lbs.When ordering an item that is coming from overseas, watch the weight units, (ditto measurements on some items). The seller should have noted this, as perhaps they will after my posting.

This is my second review as my first disappeared. A lot of people here say Program doesn’t work. It does, when it’s legit. The first 6 month batch was great for our dog in a flea infested area. The second batch is utterly useless. I couldn’t figure out why, then I looked for the expiration date. It was covered by a sticker written in, I think, Thai. My belief is that the box was either expired, which was covered up, or it’s something else altogether. Hopefully someone else has it, as it is considered the least toxic of the major flea products.

When we started giving our dogs THE PROGRAM we had 2 larger dogs. Once has since died of EXTREME old age. Having a boxer / rottweiler mix that weighs 90 lbs live to the ripe old age of 13 is unheard of. But it was not THE PROGRAM that killed her. She died FLEA FREE and happy about it. The other big dog we have is not chewing his hair off or constantly whining and scratching. He's a very nervous dog and chews his feet anyway, but now he doesn't have the added stress of fleas hopping all over his body. We are SO HAPPY with this product.

I received the product quickly. I have been using Program for years. I don't need to worry about accidentally touching poison on my dogs neck. They love it. We haven't had fleas in years!!

Update. It’s working already. I gave the first treatment to my dogs on August 16. I expected noticing results within 6 months. But it’s already working. In September. I live in the country and the farm to my West gets sprayed by everything that neighbor can buy. The run off after a big rain killed some of my lilac bushes (and they are hard to kill) not to mention what kind of bugs and nematodes he sprayed for. Anyway, I figured any fleas in the yard I walk the dogs in would be really tough, but those pesky critters are disappearing. I’ll be sticking to the Program.

This product would be great if it killed adult fleas. What good is killing their eggs if they pick up more adult fleas when they go outside to do their business? We can't treat every square foot of grass in our and our neighbor's yard every day.After a week, our dog was just as miserable as before we started the treatment. We did as the package suggested. We gave her a flea bath just before giving her the tablets. It seems like, in order for this to be effective, we'd have to bathe the dog daily, and that is not feasible.

Really wanted these to work. We live in NC and the fleas here are crazy. tried this for about 3 months and we saw little to no change. Had to move on to a different brand.

If you follow instructions on package these work great. So much less expensive from what our Vet sell
