What parts are plastic?

with exception to the aluminum legs all other parts are plastic. It is very well made and durable in my opinion.

This tripod is suitable for canon, nikon, sony. I'm using a Panasonic camera. Will this tripod work with it?

The VICTIV 74" camera tripod comes with universal 1/4" quick release plate (2 in total). So if your camera comes with 1/4" screw hole, this tripod will work with it perfectly.

is this a fluid head? if not, is it as smooth as a fluid head?

The head is very easy to move, panning and tilting are smooth with no hesitation of bumps. It is not a fluid head, but I really have enjoyed using this after the cheaper tripods I've had in the past. This one is taller and much studier. It is perfect for self tape auditions and great for photography and basic videography. I wouldn't call this a professional tripod, but is is an amazing value for the price. I hope this helps.
