NIKKY HOME Vintage Gold Mantle Clock, Silent Non-Ticking Battery Operated Rustic Table Desk Shelf Clock for Living Room Decor

THe NIkky Home Vintage Mantel Clock is beautiful! I have it on my antique brick fireplace mantel. It fits on the mantel perfectly and the color matches very nicely with all the other oiled bronze accents in my family room. I can read the clock from a good 15' away. It is silent which is another positive! This was purchased several months ago and is still keeping perfect time. I have received many compliments on it.

I love the look and the quality. However, every single battery-driven clock I have ever bought stopped working sooner than I expected. The connection between the hands and the turning mechanism apparently wears out so that while the mechanism remains working the hands just fall down and cannot be fixed. I am hoping for better on this somewhat more expensive clock.

I like that this clock is on a neck, which lifts it a bit higher and you can read it easily. The face has clear numbers and the color of the face lets the time stand out. It looks just like the photo. A nice little table clock for retro or steampunk type decor. I deducted a star for a flimsy back plate but it is not flimsy enough I'd not like the clock. I noticed after a few months it gained a minute, but that's not bad either. Its nice for a nook, a mantle, a corner table, an entertainment hutch, looks good everywhere!

Another review said this table clock was purchased to stand-in for their DVR model that didn't display the time. That review convinced me to buy it since we had the same problem. The clock has worked perfectly to help us keep track of time while watching TV. It looks good on the shelf system with all the other decorative items on display. Keeps time accurately too.
