It's so good that I actually bought myself one immediately after we received it! The ball sticks well into the glove - it did advertise that it didn't need breaking in but I'd been sceptical. I see it comes in many sizes - we both got 12.5 as he's got a very big 12 year old hand and I have a very big but slim lady's hand. The thumb part adjusts well with velcro to tighten and loosen so you've got a fair bit of leeway in the size for growing room- it won't fall off if too big if you tighten the thumb loop.
