I used the hose and fittings with a rubber coupler (not included) to complete the dust extraction system on my new miter saw. It's a perfect fit. Totally recommended it.

If you want to use a 2.5 inch hose, and need the end of the hose to extend far enough into the Shop-vac that it inserts into the HEPA bag, this will work.The product itself it well engineered and works fine, but the instructions are almost worthless. The problem is figuring out how to get the hose end to stay attached to the hose. Once you figure that out, assembly is easy. See belowIf you look at each of the hose ends, you will see that there is a rectangular opening. First slide the hose all the way into the adapter. Then find the small rectangular piece of plastic that came in the package and snap it into the rectangular opening on the hose end. That holds the hose in place. See photo

Great replacement hose !

I used to tell myself my old narrow hose was fine. It's everything I needed and nothing more. It performed great and left me satisfied after the job was done. Boy, how wrong I was. A bigger, thicker hose is always better. I don't have to fiddle with the tip anymore to try and get things to flow and I can handle much bigger jobs with ease. Get a bigger hose. You won't regret it.

The flexibility and feel of quality is poor, I don' think I want to test how crush proof it might be and it's only eight feet long (as advertised). Such is the way.

This was a perfect fit for my very old shop vac. I wanted a replacement hose that was like the original and this one is it. The hose sizes and types available on Amazon are so varied I wasn’t sure it would fit. I also didn’t want one that adapts down to a 1.5” hose. So, if you measure the inside dimension of the vacuum inlet or outlet on your Shop Vac and it measures 2-1/4”, and you want the hose diameter the same as the original, then this is the one you want. The hose did come in with a kink in the middle, resulting from being put in a box, but I heated it up with a household hair dryer (high setting for about 45 seconds on each side) at the kink, and the kink disappeared. One end has a coupling and the other end doesn’t. So there are two couplings included for you to put on, depending on the type of connection your shop vac has. Takes two seconds to install the coupling, very easy.

Shop-Vac tiene un gran producto como lo es la aspiradora PO11-500 y es muy complicado encontrar algunas refacciones. Pude hacer que embone la manguera en mi aspiradora pero es muy pesado el tubo y tuve que comprar una manguera genérica de otra marca para tener agilidad para el aspirado. Ojalá publiquen de forma clara los números de parte de las refacciones. Evitará este tipo de compras.
