I'm 5'7" and when I wear boots it just barely touches the ground. Even in a pair of wedges it stills falls pretty low which is perfect.It's a thin material, but surprisingly warm as a little additional layer (maybe because the it wraps all the way around?)My only real issue is that when it arrived it had a ton of fold lines in it which did not look good (I suspect this is what some of the other reviews mean when they say it "looks cheap").
