I got this as I need to make my trail cam bear proof as a bear took a swipe at the antenna that came with the camera and broke it off. So I bought an external antenna with a long cable so I can put the antenna up on the tree and purchased a metal box for the cam to go in so that all the connections/plugs (antenna and cable for the solar panel) will be inside the box and not exposed. I wanted to keep the box as small as possible so I got this as the right angle keeps the plug from sticking out so far and takes up less space. It definitely fit the cam and the antenna. I turned on the camera and it did the search for cell service and said it got service and connected but can't be 100% sure right now as I turned the cell service for the cam off once deer season ended. But I am 99% sure this is what I needed and it works just fine for my needs.

These worked out very well for my application and seem to be of very good quality.

Love these, if you have security cameras and want to add a better antenna these elbows save the day, tuff to add good coax or a larger antenna without these

The sma female side seems to be solid but both 90 degree sma female to male connectors I received came apart on the sma male side. It's pressure fit and it didn't take much force to separate from the 90. A simple antenna adjustment and it'll come off in your hand. Try to snug up your antenna and the connector unseats and falls apart. Not great for quality.

It works great on your helium miner. Helps relief tension.

This is not a 90° SMA female to male. The female side is correct, but the male side does not have a stinger. Make sure this is what you need before frying your radio.

These adapters are handy for adapting between Cellular (typically SMA) and WiFi/Lora (typically RP-SMA) equipment (cables, antennas, devices). Since both work on similar frequencies, there can be crossover in application between the antennas and so the ability to use a wideband cellular antenna for WiFi/LoRa and vice versa is handy.As for actual performance, I am using this with a Helium miner device that self-reports the antenna gain. I am using a 7 dBi directional antenna but it is reporting the gain as 4 dBi. So, 3 dBi is getting lost in the process somewhere. That said, my antenna is currently not mounted properly, so I am hesitant to estimate signal loss due to the adapters.Typical signal loss is about 0.25 dBi per connection, so you want to minimize the number of adapters in your connections, but sometimes they are needed and the signal loss is manageable.
