Keeps prime filter clean
Extends life of primary canister filters. Those things are expensive! No regrets at all using these bags. Super tough and capable of holding many pounds of things you don't want to breath or share. Perfect replacement for original equipment.

Smaller than Dewalt OEM for DWV012
Bag is considerably smaller in capacity than original Dewalt DWV012 bags. The Dewalt bags measure 23 3/4" wide x 21 5/8" long. The Powetec bags measure 16 1/8" wide x 25 1/8" long. Materials that the bag is made of appear to be of lighter weight and thinner material. Flow rate through through a new powertec bag appeared to be the same as a Dewalt bag that was used for months in my DWV012 drawing air from my cyclone separator, while using it for sawdust pickup. Since my old Dewalt bag wasn't near full, I reinstall it. I can't say if the Powertec bag would have more pressure drop when it is used but being smaller with less surface area it is a possibility. Price is considerably less compared to a Dewalt bag.

Do Not Buy for Concrete Dust collection!
I have a Dewalt DWV015 Dust extractor with 155 CFM that I use for grinding concrete. Bags fit great however they split down the seams every time. I used three and gave up. I even turned down the suction to 50% on the third one and the same thing happened even when the bag was only 1/4 full. The Dewalt brand bags never do this.

Doesn’t filter fine dust
Low quality. Much thinner layers than genuine dewalt bags. It doesn’t filter fine dust like concrete dust or drywall dust. It goes through the bag and is full of the dust collector container.
