Because it is a true castile soap, it cleans very deeply, which means it may make your skin feel a bit drier than a standard body wash. However, this is an easy fix—you can just add a good lotion or body oil to your post-shower regimen. I HAVE USED THIS SIMPLE, HEALTHFUL SOAP FOR MANY YEARS. IT IS SO NATURAL AND TRULY CLEANSING BUT GENTLE. IT IS A CLASSIC.

This bar soap is suitable for use as a shaving treatment. I use a double edge razor to cut my facial hair and skull. The product produces a good amount of lather and the citrus scent is mild but pleasant. Also the chemistry formula used is mildly basic (pH slightly above neutral 7.2), so the product does rise off without leaving a slimy feel.

I bought these to make homemade laundry detergent, and they worked perfectly. The bars grated easily into a fine powder and had a pleasant, clean scent. My clothes came out fresh and clean every time.Downside: While the bars smell great, the scent doesn’t really linger on the clothes after washing. Shipping also took longer than expected.Overall, a good product for DIY laundry detergent—just wish the scent lasted longer and delivery was faster.
