A: yes, there are 4 rubber pads that are very well attached to the base to prevent scratching floors

A: No.

**Q: How would these work as dining room chairs. Are they too low?**
A: We bought these to use as dining room chairs - definitely not too low for a regular dining table and we find them very comfortable.  Also they look great.

**Q: Do these chairs have a weight limit? Not how much do you weigh?**
A: The chairs didn’t come with any documents listing a weight limit.  However, Target sells an identical chair and it’s weight max is 250 lbs.  Hope that helps.
