I used this scale for my 21 year old cat to track her weight, before she crossed the rainbow bridge, and it did it's job. I noticed my veretenarian had the same scale, hence why I used this one. Our little kitty tolerated it. Seriously, she was a cat and cats have their own way of living life. What did I expect? I wouldn't recommend for dogs. She was so small in the end. This tracked her weight perfectly. I miss our little kitty to this day.

Works great! Easy to use. My Maltese had her litter - only 3 pups, 1 did not make it. But it has been so easy to keep track of my 2 pups weight when I was afraid they weren't getting enough milk for momma - they are!!! They are thriving. I would recommend this scale.

I bought this to weigh my pet rabbit that seemed to be losing weight. The tray was a little small for her so I found a larger container and just pressed the TARE button to reset the scale to zero. I tested it out with some various unopened food items and it seemed to be accurate to .01-.005kg (0.02lb). This may be an issue for a smaller animal like a lizard or rat but for a 2kg/4.4lb bunny it was fine. Some other reviews mentioned the scale being too sensitive or moving around too much to get a good reading. I found it fluctuated between 1.88-1.90kg, pretty easy to average it out to 1.89kg. I used kg because its what my vet uses but you can easily toggle between grams and pounds

Bought this when I had newborn puppies. Easy to turn on and use. The buttons to change metrics are easy to decipher. Clear instructions. Scale was super accurate and easy to put together. Be sure to zero out your scale before weighing things or the read may be off. Had an issue when I sat it on something and it didn't read right, so also be sure it's on a flat surface. Biggest thing was the wiggling of the puppies! But that's not the scales fault, it did its job perfectly :)

I'm questioning the accuracy of this scale. It worked great while the puppies didn't move but now the wiggles seem to throw it off.

This scale is is an important tool for me to ensure the growth and health of my kittens since they are in a breeding program.

Incredibly disappointing that I was shipped an item that was used and damaged. Scale seems to weigh accurately but the measuring tape came cut right past the inch mark. It also won’t roll up when the button is pressed. Scale is on the small size but should be fine for weighing puppies up until 8 weeks of age.
