Adventures of Tintin Complete Set (The Adventures of Tintin - Compact Editions)

Best purchase ever for our 4-year-old. He enjoys sitting and reading these for long periods of time. Very sturdy set too.

I ordered the compact (red-backed) version of this collection, and I love it. A lot of reviews have said the print is small. To me, this is debatable. Is it smaller than the original versions? Sure, but I’ve had no issues reading it or seeing the beauty of Herge’s art in the panels, and I’m loving the collection thus far. Unless you have trouble with making out standard-sized letters in general, you should be fine here. I’m not saying that this version is better or worse than the original, but I enjoyed it very much, and I wanted to push back against the claims that the text was too small to be legible. To me, it’s fine, and the art shines through!

I grew up reading the adventures of Tintin, so I decided to purchase this item because it was on sale and I wanted to treat myself. Like other reviewers, I had mine come with some chipping and dust. Otherwise, the item was as described, and overall I'm pretty satisfied with this purchase.

Tintin was the first book I ever check out of the library in the 1960's and I continue to read them periodically today. I have introduced them to my children and my grandchildren. I love the artwork, multitude of characters and the great story lines. I have multiple editions and they have a permanent place in my library.

Either for a child or a adult who wants to reconnect with their inner-child. This was a perfect gift for me. Cause I'm a lover of history. So as I read these I'm able to imagine myself in the 1930s

Just what I was looking for! Brings back so many memories of childhood. 23 titles in the set. Hardcover. The only one missing is Tintin in the Congo, probably because of its racist overtones. The font size is a bit small, as some reviewers have mentioned, but I don't find that a problem. The first book in the series -- Tintin in the Land of the Soviets -- is B&W (also has a slightly bigger font); the rest are in color.

At the time of purchase I felt it was a good deal (103 CAD) considering we were occasionally purchasing the large single story versions at chapters for my sons.These are much smaller and I personally prefer the larger format but my son luvs these as he can take up to 3 stories per volume on a car trip. As it was an Xmas gift for him and he’s is happy 5 stars.The only downside to this purchase was Amazon’s questionable discretion to use Canada Post during and immediately after the strike with the backlog caused prior to Xmas. This significantly delayed delivery. Amazon should be refunding the Prime fees to all those affected!!!

Si siempre te han gustado los comics de tintin o la serie, esta edicion es ideal para obtener la colección completa en ingles a un precio reducido. Reducido también es su tamaño, yo me esperaba que tuviesen un tamaño grande pero son más bien pequeños, aunque no presentan dificultades para su lectura. La mayor pega es que la caja que forra los libros llegó golpeada
