The bulb works great. I use it in our deep yellow hanging lamp. These transparent bulbs are hard to find in a store but fit the bill for my lamp. I hoped to use an LED bulb but all were just to bright and bleached out the glow of our lamp.

These bulbs were bright blue when I bought them, as advertised. But the coloring agent added to the glass began to slowly fade as soon as the bulb was turned on, and the bulb started to heat up. Within hours, these "blue" bulbs were a washed-out greenish yellow color, so pale they were barely colored at all. I bought a six pack. They all went into the trash. I replaced them with colored party LED bulbs which I should have just bought in the first place. Save your money. Don't buy this junk.

I was trying to find some red bulbs that weren't plastic with red paint on them. That seemed to be all I could find at stores and wouldn't work for my needs. These are nice glass bulbs with a clear red tone. Perfect for our needs! They seem like they will last a good amount of time before blowing.

This product does not retain the blue color. It faded away within a week. Now it has been to long and I am stuck with a box of bulbs that are useless for what I wanted.

I have an unusual use for these green bulbs. I use this bulb in a light fixture over the cage I have finches in. When it is cold, they sit on a branch under the light fixture to warm themselves. It gives off just the right amount of heat. :)

It wasn't quite as bright but the red isn't supposed to bother animals as much and the bugs don't come to it!

No bright ideas here.
