I ordered 2 of theses, both had really bad scratches on the lids. On one of them if you selected the 3rd fan setting it would just switch off. No cool air came out at all, waving a piece of paper in front of your face would have been better.

The fan and the water misting works great but hard to refill. The water is added to a hole at the top, around 5-8mm wide and is sealed in with a plug. The water reservoir is in the base of the unit. The biggest issue I found was trapped air. when filling it up, air bubbles would get trapped and prevent it from being filled completely. I think there is some sort of valve but eventually you get bubbles up. Alternatively you can stick something like a chopstick in there to clear the air and allow water to go back in. It's also quite difficult to add icy water. I have another unit which I have access to add in ice. For this one, due to the way water is applied, can't support that. this is a bit misleading as the listing shows icy water in the picture.

The worst thing is that the power adapter is not included!!! it is a big scandal that customers need to pay an extra £10 in order to buy a compatible adapter that has power input DC5V/2A and C - type connector that allows users to plug this portable air conditioner in. That suppose to be provided by the manufacturer as a must, otherwise, a large group of clients might return the product to the Amazon seller directly.

Real review would be 2/5 cheap / innefective air cooler. Can only give 1/5 to highlight this product listing was a highly rated flag item that has had its details replaced with this air cooler to hijack the positive rating of the previous product.
