Excellent buy!
Excellent buy. I have two larger, metal floor fans that have weathered (no pun intended) whole house air flow when no A/C is required. However, they are also decades old, louder, and heavier. I love the compact size, and quiet noise level, while still pushing air sufficiently. I bought two. Highly recommended.

Simple, Powerful Fan That Gets the Job Done
This is a straightforward fan, but it works exactly how you’d expect. Airflow is strong, especially on the higher settings, and it does a good job moving air around a bedroom or small space. The three speed options give you enough control depending on how much airflow you want. It’s lightweight and easy to move thanks to the built-in handle, which makes it convenient to reposition or store when not in use. Build quality is pretty basic, which is expected at this price point. It’s mostly plastic and can be a little noisy on the highest setting, but nothing out of the ordinary for a box fan. Great for sleeping if you need a little extra sound. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option if you just need reliable airflow without any extra features.

Great fans
These fans are light and work great! I've been running them pretty much non-stop and haven't had an issue. They're quiet and the airflow is strong.

it works fine for single rooms.
good fan. high speed isn't very strong but still works great for small areas.

One of the best boxfans on Amazon!
After my most recent Lasko box fan's switch shorted out, literally arcing, I was in the market for a new fan to help regulate my quirky body temperature. (I can't remember the last time I was comfortable without a box fan handy! First world problems, am I right?) At first I was just going to continue the endless cycle of household Lasko fans that my family has dealt with for many years, so long in fact, that we have a "graveyard" of fans in the garage from which we can draw parts for the darned things. That's neither here nor there, but is, if that makes sense? Anyway! After looking at the prices though & spotting this cost effective Amazon Basics fan, I thought, why not give one of these a try? When it arrived I was charmed by it's sleek looks. It's the same size as the model of fan I was used to using. The power level was easily on par with, if not superior to the model that I was used to using. Quality wise though, that's where it really shined! Lasko fans are notorious for their cheap plastic legs (feet?) breaking if it suddenly gets mildly offended at something you say in it's direction. After which time you have to either buy costly replacements or prop the thing up, blocking part of the airflow, but saving the money. This model of fan won't ever have that problem though. It has good quality one piece legs that screw into the bottom of the fan that support it both from the front & the back. These will not snap even if it gets tipped over. I think I fell in love with it just over that one point alone! It also doesn't have the protruding handle & dial on top of the fan. Instead the dial is flush with the face of the fan in the upper right hand corner but doesn't impede the airflow as far as I can tell. Portability isn't lost with this model either. The handle is moved to an out of the way position at the top/back of the fan, with a minimal profile to prevent blocking airflow, which allows you to easily move it when necessary. Furthermore, with the dial & handle moved away from the top of the fan, it makes it far more convenient for putting this fan in the window. The only detracting value I can possibly see in this fan would be for those whom use fans to generate white noise. The noise level produced by this fan is negligible when compared to it's contemporary Lasko fan models, so you might want to keep that in mind when shopping. For me, this is a non-issue, so my sleep quality is perfect with my beloved new Amazon Basics fan!

ok, but kinda wimpy
reasonably quiet, but not very powerful airflow. more for creating a cool breeze than actually moving a significant volume of air

Great
Great. Exactly what you’d expect, if not better. Great sound, speed, stability, etc. the cord for it isnt super long so keep that in mind. The fan’s size is exactly what you’d expect. Not small. There is basically no setup process. Just push the feet onto the bottom where they go in and they’ll just click on there, then plug it in and turn it on.

Not the quietest but the Air Flow is Great
Box fans are not super quiet due to their design, but this one isn't horribly loud. Of course, it isn't the quietest fan either. But the air flow is very good, IMHO, and I like the clean, basic design with the knob on the front of the fan. I had a Holmes box fan for years which was great, but the motor died. Sadly, I couldn't find a box fan by Holmes so I decided to try this Amazon Basics box fan because of the reviews. I got it a month ago and so far so good.

No tan bueno
A veces siento que da más calor que frescura. Ni por tenerlo montado en la ventana.
