The wife and I are getting on a bit and moving heavy furniture can be a struggle. This coffee table has drawers which are full of stuff that we have accumulated over time this combined with the shelf’s has made it heavy. So , upended it drilled 4x8mm holes fitted the sleeves and castor’s. Now it’s portable and can be easily pushed to one side for hoovering ect. Given the design they do not look out of place at all. Well made good quality castors that are a doddle to fit.

My fairly new couch is moved around fairly frequently depending whether we have visitors or want move it closer to the TV. It has become more and more difficult to move and on looking at the casters, they had worn on the bearing and were tipping. These casters from Amazon are much more robust. They were a bit of a diy job as the caster socket supplied needs to be fitted to replace the existing one. A bit of leverage with a screwdriver got the old ones out and the bored hole in the couch was an exact size for replacing. Tapped in with a hammer and a bit of protective wood, job done. Pushed the new casters into the socket and the couch moves like brand new. Well pleased and they look robust with a larger bearing surface. Fifteen minute upgrade, job done. Ten points from the missus as she doesn't need me to move it any more. I can just watch and not feel guilty.

The castors are nice and strong, the teeth on the mountings are too weak to get a good grip into the wood, had to buy stronger ones.

These are as described but simply didn’t fit my furniture so had to return 2 items. I was only refunded for one lot and can’t get in touch with Amazon to find out why. Very frustrating to resort to reviewing a nice product to slag Amazon!
