The South Asian Edition of The Washington Manual of Emergency Medicine presentscontributions from faculty and residents at the Washington University School of Medicinein St. Louis and representative faculty from India. The book focuses on practical content onhow physicians actually practice emergency care. It is a comprehensive, concise, handy quick-reference, delivering need-to-know information at your fingertips, even inpoint-of-care situations. The knowledge shared is practice-based and therefore extremely relevant for emergencymedicine professionals. Review: Good book - Very good explanation, useful especially for interns, and PGs in casualty department Review: Worst Book for Emergency Medicine - SAE (South Asian Edition) is the worst. Very old and outdated information about various diseases and emergency conditions usually encountered in India. SAE Editors were done a very shoddy job. It seems like these Indian Doctors have spoiled the name of Washington Manual by taking everything for granted. These doctors donโt even know the latest information and treatment of Enteric Fever(10 yrs old information given in the book). They have done nothing in the name of editing. SAE Edition is the worst.
