is this color a light ginger red?

Not light, just ginger red. However it did not change my color in the slightest. Even after two apps and max time, nothing!

So in the instructions it says NOT to use on your labia, is this your labia majora, if so what good is it?

I have used this for years..and I am not pristine in how I apply it. I do think if you get it on those more juicy parts it does kind of irritate but for me any way I wouldn't say it's awful, just closer to unpleasant. You do get an application brush similar to the spiral brush on mascara, so it is easy to control the application. I think basically it's a good, safe product.

My hair is naturally red. Can I just use the color and not lighten my hair down there?

I do that, mostly to save time.

I would like a natural human color red-"head" look. Is the auburn a natural color? Has anyone mixed colors to get a natural auburn?

Depending on what your natural hair color is and how long you leave it in. For me This is a real red (the carpet will not match the curtains). I don't know what you could mix it with as the only other colors are sort of "jewel" like - green, blue, purple. I think this product was more of a novelty than anything else. You know kind of like "I've got a sexy secret and nobody will ever know " kind of thing. And I'm not sure if I'd use a regular hair dye 'down there ' but you could probably call the manufacturer. There's always an 800 number in the directions. Good luck.
