What do the hieroglyphs say?

Reading hieroglyphs can get complicated, because you can read them right to left, left to right, up and down or down to up. It depends on the way the symbols are pointing. So for the horizontal bar it reads from left to right since the bird symbols are facing the left. "Ankh" then the bird is either "O" "U" or "W" -- the middle symbol is not one I recognize so it may just be a decorative squiggle like it is around the loop of the ankh. Then it continues to read in a mirror of the first side. "O" "U" or "W" and then "Ankh". For the vertical line, if you read it starting up and going down it is "Y" which is the double feather, then there's what looks like tongs, and the best I could find in my personal notes would be "CH" (pronounced more like a KH) for that symbol, then another small bird for "O" "U" or "W", then what looks like it could be a lion which would be the letter "L", or a symbol for the goddess Sekhmet -- or it could be a cow (Hathor) or a ram (Ra), then beneath that is a hand "D" and waves "N". So trying to figure it out in context to the rest of the symbols around it, my best interpretation would be that it reads: "Ankh O Ikhut Ra Dhene O Ankh" which I would personally translate to: "Live life in the honor of the gods."
