Big Skinny Men's Tri-Fold Slim Wallet, Holds Up to 25 Cards

I’ve been through my fair share of "slim" wallets that end up being anything but slim once you actually put your cards in them. The Big Skinny Men’s Tri-Fold has officially become my new favorite daily carry. It manages to do something most wallets can’t: hold a massive amount of gear without ruining the silhouette of my pants. The "Spread" Factor What makes this wallet unique is its footprint. It is slightly larger in terms of height and width than your standard trifold, and that is actually its greatest strength. By increasing the surface area, the contents (cards and cash) are spread out over a larger space. Instead of a thick, square lump, you get a flat, distributed profile that feels much more natural in a front or back pocket. Capacity & Organization I am currently holding about 15 cards plus cash, and the wallet still feels incredibly thin. The manufacturer claims it can hold up to 25, and based on the pocket depth, I absolutely believe it. Even at high capacity, the trifold design stays closed and doesn't "spring" open. Material & Build Quality The materials feel high-quality and durable. It’s a specialized nylon micro-fiber that is much thinner than traditional leather but feels just as sturdy. The stitching is tight, and the "skinny" material allows the wallet to be thin even before you put anything in it. Final Thoughts If you are tired of the "Costanza wallet" effect but aren't ready to give up your cards for a tiny minimalist clip, this is the perfect middle ground. It offers maximum storage with a minimal profile. Pros: Distributes weight and thickness over a larger area. Genuinely slim even when fully loaded. High-quality, durable micro-fiber material. Excellent card capacity (Up to 25). Cons: Larger physical footprint than some "ultra-mini" wallets (but much thinner).

Wow, I see that these are "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." That's bad because this item is good. I was lucky, I ordered one on June 6. Whatever problem they had a couple of years ago, with things falling out too easily, they appear to have indeed fixed. After using it for 3 weeks, nothing has fallen out, and if anything, it holds my credit cards more firmly that my old wallet (a nylon tri-fold from EMS, which is no longer available or I would have gotten that). EDIT: After an additional month, I am now inserting my credit cards with the numbers on the outside of the pocket. This thing really does hold stuff firmly, and with the numbers on the outside, the credit cards slip in and out more easily, and the numbers themselves make a good thumb-grip. Some people complain about the logo sewn on the outside. It can be removed, but I like it, because when I put my wallet in my pocket oriented such that the credit cards and bills are oriented the way I want them when the wallet is removed and opened, that logo is exactly where I place my thumb. It provides a good grip, and tells me that the wallet is oriented in my pocket correctly. I'm glad that I ended up with this one, because when fully-loaded, it is astonishingly slim and small. I can't really figure out how they were able to do this. The only downside is that I worry about losing it. It really flops around in the back pocket of my Levis, it has a slick, low-friction surface, and I worry about it falling out and going missing while I am doing something active.

Exactly what I wanted. Thin, lightweight and plenty of pockets for cards, license etc. this men’s wallet is perfect for me. Women’s models were not as small and always seem to have the zippered change compartment which adds weight and volume. I would love to see this advertised for women in their product line with some bright colors. A brightly colored wallet will show up in a purse‘s dark interior

I'm very happy with this wallet so far. It's very thin. The smooth material makes it easy to slide in and out of your pocket. The card slots are extra wide, so even over-sized cards would fit and it's easy to insert and remove cards. There's a light rubberized coating on the inside of the card slots that keeps them from slipping out when you have the wallet open. There is a rubber Big Skinny logo on the front. It might be useful to mark which way is up, but I wanted my wallet to be as thin as possible, so I used a pocket knife to cut the stitching holding it on and removed the logo. It left little holes where the stitching was, but it doesn't bother me. I've had this wallet for a little over a month now. It shows no signs of wear or stitching coming loose. However, I usually carry it in my coat pocket when I'm wearing one, during the cold weather. We will have to wait to see how it holds up in the back pocket of my jeans once the weather warms up.

I have used tri-fold wallets for many, many years, since I find them to be smaller and more comfortable to carry around in my back pocket. The tri-fold that I am replacing was good, but its cloth material was rather thick. So, I found this Big Skinny wallet -- which is similar in size to most (if not all) tri-folds. But, its material is very very thin. So, that is the secret to its thin profile. It seems very durable, and fits comfortably in my back pocket. The one negative: The card holder pockets are arranged perpendicular to the top opening. The 3 slots on each flap are as follows: 2 slots with depth slightly less than the depth of a credit card, and 1 slot that is the full depth of the flap. The 2 slots that have shorter depths are good for holding credit cards and for having them somewhat visible. But the deep third slot does not allow you to see the credit card at all -- and it will "get lost" inside of that pocket. Fortunately, I really just have 3 cards that I like to keep at a glance -- so, the 4 slots that allow keeping my cards visible are OK for my needs. But, I much prefer a wallet that has the card slots oriented so that the cards can be slipped out in the same direction as the top opening for dollar bills. This allows for stacking 3 card slots on each flap, each with immediate visibility for all cards by allowing them to "peak" above the slot opening. Big Skinny should offer this option. I would buy it.

This is a nice compact tri fold wallet. Efficient on space and holds way more than you think it will. This is my second one after my first one died after 13 years of daily use.

I tried several other trifold wallets. Most of them leather. And they would always pop open; even with very little contents. I like this trifold wallet since the credit cards can not slide out since the open side of their slots faces the interior of the wallet and not its opening. I have mine loaded up and it’s still thin and stays closed. Really love it.

I must admit I was very skeptical of this wallet before purchasing it. I carried a Dickies trifold wallet for 8 years and was looking to replace it with the same one but it was unavailable. I did some searching and came across this big skinny wallet. I read the reviews and figured I could always return it through Amazon if it turned out to be junk. When it got here and I took it out of the package I was surprised at how small and I light weight it is. I thought it was going to be bulky and hard to retain its shape with money and 10 cards in it. I was actually amazed witb $200 in small bills and nine cards in the wallet it folded nice and evenly and layed flat. And it weighed next to nothing. I am also impressed that nothing seems to want to fall out of the card pockets . That's fantastic since I was always in danger of losing my driver's license from my Dickies wallet. I would definitely recommend this wallet to any guy looking to purchase or replace a wallet. This is the real deal. Hats off to whoever designed this wallet. Good job. You definitely have a new customer and I will tell my friends about this wallet.

This is a wallet that is actually made to be small, thin, and functional. I am a particular person, and I bought a returned a few wallets that claimed to be small or thin. This one actually is. I have maybe 15 cards and two currencies in the wallet and it still folds like it is meant to and fits easily in the pocket. I don't generally leave reviews, but this one deserves it.

Unbelievable how everything that was in my old trifold is now in my big skinny and takes up half the space good purchase.
