Bosch Cordless Lawnmower CityMower 18V-32

I bought this to replace a heavy petrol lawnmower. I would say I have a small/medium size garden at the rear and a small run of grass at the front (4M x 1.5m). I was able to cut both with one single charge and it was still on one light when I finished. It’s so lightweight it belies its power. Very easy to use and manoeuvre - I’m a woman in my 50s and could throw this around the garden with no issues. It’s also very quiet, not an annoying buzz just a soft hum. My grass was long too and I was concerned if it could manage it but like I say, it’s very powerful despite its lightweight construction. The only very small negative is that the grass collection box is a little flimsy but this does not take anything away from this being the best bit of kit I have purchased for a long time. If you need a new/better lawnmower buy this - fantastic value!

Light, easy set up, easy to use and really like the freedom of cutting the lawn without a trailing cable. Reasonable quality and value for money. I'd like a sturdier collection box. Would like the charge to last a bit longer. But ideal for a small lawn.

I am incredibly pleased with this mower! It has performed far better than my expectations. It cuts well, picks up more grass than my last one, it is light and easy to use and all in all I couldn't be happier! I am 79 and needed an easier mower than the one I had and this is it.

I assembled and took it for a spin. It was easy to put together. Easy to carry. Cuts the grass like a dream. It is quiet too. I was able to finish the job in 20 minutes. The battery charged really fast and powered the mower a long time. I loved the handle. The machine seems sturdy. The height adjustment is easy, you just need to move a handle to the next position. I am impressed

Very impressive speed of delivery, good price and easy to assemble. Other good points are that the mower is lightweight for moving up and down garden steps and the battery charges quickly and lasts well. But on the negative side, the cutting strip is narrow and the cutting height won’t adjust to a low enough setting. It would also be better if the handles folded easier for carrying and storage.

Lighter weight mower much easier to use than our old mains one with miles of cable, as we are disabled. Narrower cut but that’s ok and it uses the same battery as our other tools.

Like my previous CORDED version, this is a brilliant lawnmower - a plucky little workhorse! However, it is not the actual workings I have issue with - it's the spring-hinged lid that covers the battery pack and isolator. As the lid is spring-hinged, you need one hand or arm to hold it back, whilst attempting to insert the battery with the other. The cover is plastic and the edge is VERY sharp, and not only badly scraped the skin on my forearm, but actually cut it - the photo below was taken 3 days afterwards. I will put a length of gaffer tape along the edge of the lid which will sort out the problem, but there wouldn't have been a problem had the lid not been unnecessarily spring-hinged to start with. It's not easy manipulating a heavy battery into its correct position AND holding back the lid at the same time. I'm not a spring chicken (please excuse the pun) and maybe someone much stronger than me and with tough skin (or younger skin!) can manage it without damaging themselves.

Das Gerät ist schon in Ordnung. Aber wie soll ich wissen, 80 Jahre alt, was UK bedeutet, also Import aus England. Und dann muss man auch noch 45 € Zoll bezahlen, ich hätte das Gerät doch nie bestellt. Das muss einfach besser gekennzeichnet werden, oder sollen die Kunden reingelegt werden. Außerdem finde ich es unmöglich, einen "nichtdeutschen" Anschluss zu liefern, also erst einmal einen Adapter kaufen, das geht nicht!!!!! Warum eigentlich Zoll bezahlen, wenn die Vertretung in Deutschland sitzt. Es werden doch auch andere Dinge aus dem Ausland verkauft, aber ohne Zoll. Eigentlich hätte ich die Zollgebühr von ca. 45 € schon gern zurückerstattet.
