Hello , i need to pin paper against a tilted wooden plate , the wood is 2 cm thick , if i put 1 of these on each side will it suffice?

I would not recommend them. 2 cm is quite a distance for the magnets to attract each other. Also the weight of the wooden plate would possibly drag the magnets apart depending on the weight of the plate. I used them to secure reflectix cutouts to block windows in our van. The magnets only need to go through the thickness of duct tape to hold onto the metal wall of the van. For this application they work really well.
